PHS Friends and Alumni fellowship program celebrates success (Florence Morning News)

Palmetto High School?s Friends and Alumni Association raised over $23,000 in scholarship funds for students during their annual fellowship program. The event gathered over 200 people to Mt. Olive Baptist Church, as the students at the once all black high school before integration took the time to remember the past and reward students continuing their education.
